Having assisted hundreds of families who have relocated both into and from the greater Grand Rapids area, Karen knows the area along with each areas own unique amenities and lifestyles. Others in the household include dogs Max, a Golden Retriever, and cats, Olivia and Rufus. Karens career in real estate began in 1980 at Century 21 where she trained and stayed for 3 years, followed by RE/MAX for 19 years. Then, following a 4 year company change at another local company, a much needed return to RE/MAX, however, this time as a co-owner of a new office in Forest Hills. During this same time Karen began to develop a dedicated relocation company called West Michigan Relocation, of which Karen is the President and CEO. In what spare time she has, Karen enjoys the sport of crew, supporting the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and is involved with RE/MAX International as a contributor to the Childrens Miracle Network, locally through the Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital in Grand Rapids.
